- Stamps –
- Visible Image – from Flower INKcognito set (free stamp on April Craft Stamper)
- Hero Arts – sentiment from CL738 Messages with Flourish set
- Cardstock – Neenah Solar White
- Inks – Ranger Distress inks: Spun Sugar, Shaded Lilac and Salty Ocean
This card is a quintessential clean and simple one! The flower image, from Visible Image, was the freebie on the cover of the April Craft Stamper magazine. I applied the Distress Ink to the clear stamp that I had mounted on my new Misti with a sponge applicator tool. The Misti allowed me to keep the stamp positioned and apply as much ink additional ink as I wanted. This was a great help in planning for this card. The Craft Stamper Take It Make It Challenge for March is Anything Goes, so this seems quite appropriate for that! I’m also submitting this to the Paper Players Challenge #287 – Celebrate Spring. It has been nice to have a little extra time to create during the last few days! Thanks for stopping by.

- Stamp – Flourishes “Botanical Bookplates Vol. 1”
- Die – Spellbinders for Flourishes “Tailor-Made Classic Bookplate”
- Border punch – EK Success “Scallop Diamond” edger punch
- Twine – Little B – Naturals
- Patterned paper – BoBunny “Secret Garden: Secret Garden Roses”
- Cardstock – Bazzill
For this card I colored the image with Zig Clean Color markers and blended the colors with a water brush. I chose Mojo Monday Sketch #440 to showcase the violets on the bookplate die-cut. I wrapped the background with some natural colored twine to bring out the light color of the trim in the image, tying it all together visually (so to speak!). Thanks for visiting.

- Stencil – The Crafter’s Workshop – TCW631s – “Mini Doodle Bloom”
- Stamp – Hero Arts – CL738 “Messages with Flourish”
- Patterned paper – Sizzix – “Fox Tales” Paper Pad
- Ink – Ranger Distress Inks – Abandoned Coral, Spun Sugar and Squeezed Lemonade
- Cardstock – Neenah Solar White
I used the Crafter’s Workshop stencil and applied Distress Ink through a portion of it to create the image for this card. The sketch is from Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #228. I mounted the white panel onto a piece of subtly patterned paper from Sizzix. It picked up my ink colors perfectly. I think I succeeded at clean and simple on this card! Hope to see you soon.

- Stamps – The Cat’s Pajamas, “Raining Cats” and “Simply Said”
- Dies –
- The Cat’s Pajamas, “Stitched Clouds” and “Easy Stitched Bow” Cut-ups
- Spellbinders Nestabilities, “Deckled Rectangles Large”
- Patterned Paper –
- My Mind’s Eye – “Remarkable” 6 X 6″ paper pad
- Echo Park – “A Perfect Summer – Chevron Lines”
- Epoxy dots – Doodlebug Designs – “Sprinkles Spring Assortment”
- Cardstock – Bazzill
This card features a stamp I’ve had for quite a while. The wood-mount stamp is dated 2006. My how that 10 years flew by! I layered some patterned papers to give the kitty a festive environment, and even used a tiny bit to paper piece the umbrella Miss Kitty is holding. There are some Spring heart showers descending from the cloud, appropriate for the TCP Tuesday Challenge #309: Spring. I stamped the cloud with my sentiment (also from TCP) and adhered it with some dimensional adhesive. As a finishing touch, I added the die-cut bow which turns out so great when you fold it! It also repeats the stitching seen on the cloud to help tie the elements together. Finally, I popped on three little epoxy dots and it was done. Thanks for stopping by.

- Stamp – Technique Tuesday “Greenhouse Crocus”
- Die – Technique Tuesday “Crocus”
- Ranger – Dina Wakley Media Clear Gesso
- Ranger – Texture Paste – Transparent Matte
- Patterned paper – 7 Gypsies
- Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists
- Ranger Dylusions Ink Spray – White Linen
- Tim Holtz Stencil – Dot Fade
- Zig Clean Color markers
- Cardstock – Bazzill and Paper Accents
- Ribbon – Michael’s
I created the background for this card when I made a number of them a couple of weeks ago. There are layers of gesso, texture paste, and inks on patterned paper. To see details, check out my previous post.
I stamped this pretty crocus and then watercolored it with Zig Clean Color markers and a water brush. I then cut it out using the matching die and completed watercoloring the edges of the image before popping it up on the background. This qualified me for the Shopping our Stash Challenge #241 – White Out (No white paper showing)! It also fits the bill for the Mixed Media Mojo March 2016 Challenge: Springtime and Watercolor. Since we have crocus flowers popping up right now, this seemed appropriate for this time of year: almost Spring! Thanks for visiting.

I created this Valentine using My Favorite Things Sketch #267. I colored the bunny image with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers and a waterbrush. It was a very simple interpretation of the sketch. I used a whole bunch of stuff in order to create the layers for this little canvas! And I used glitter and other shiny stuff that I don’t often use. The Mixed Media Mojo Challenge for January 2016 is to create something with a Winter theme and you can add a glitter twist.
I layered a lot of different products after the gesso to create a snowflakey, snowy feeling. The pearlescent modeling creme also gave off a nice sheen, as did the glitter and the embossing powder for the sentiment. The whipped spackle also give the impression of snow. I have a lot of snowflake stamps, dies and even a stencil, so it is nice to use them for something other than Christmas cards!
I like the size of this small canvas. It isn’t overwhelming and I am thinking that if I create these for each of the seasons that might be a fun little home decor item.
Thanks for stopping by!

- Die – Memory Box “Flicker Hearts”
- Stamp – My Sentiments Exactly H178 “Valentine’s Day”
- Crystal Stickers “Ruby Round 3mm”
- Cardstock – Neenah Solar White and Bazzill (red)
This is the first Valentine I’ve made so far this year. It features the lovely die from Memory Box that really deserves to be the focal point in this clean and simple card. I really like the detail that you get with this die. I backed the cut area with red cardstock and added the red bling in honor of Addicted to CAS Challenge #80 “Code Word Red”, and which follows the basic layout of Paper Players Sketch #279. Thanks for visiting.

This clean and simple, one-layer card features the lovely Altenew Freesia stamps. I’ll be giving this card to a friend who recently lost her mother.
