This is another Easter card I created using the Authentique papers from the “Jubilee” collections. I cut the bunny image from the “Jubilee Six” paper with the My Favorite Things tag die, which is the centerpiece of the card. The background (green print) panel and the carrot strip are both from Jubilee papers as well. All of the cut pieces were edged with Ripe Persimmon ink to tie the elements together. Thanks for visiting.

This was a fun Valentine to make, combining supplies from a several different companies. The squirrel is surrounded by candy conversation hearts, although his acorn seems to be his favored treat! I colored the squirrel with Copic markers to start things off. Then I die-cut the hearts, coloring and stamping the conversation hearts. I die cut the base shapes and arranged all of the pieces to make this Valentine for my son. Thanks for stopping by and Happy Valentine’s Day!

I created this card for a challenge a small group of cardmaking friends had recently to “put a bird on it.” You know, when in doubt, put a bird on it. So it was fun to put this together and color the animals and their accessories with Copic markers and stack them. I’m trying to use up some of my patterned paper in my stash (not so successfully because there is a lot of it, but its all so pretty!). I liked this simple card sketch from Sketch Saturday challenge blog, and it was a perfect design for this card. Thanks for stopping by.

The Valentine season is approaching and who better to provide helpful advice, but the TCP bunny! I colored him with Copics, fussy cut him, then placed him on the die-cut layers with dimensional adhesive. I drew a dash-dot-dash line around the square layers and popped the sentiment on top. Thanks for stopping by.

- Stamps –
- Lawn Fawn “Forest Feast” and “Cheery Christmas”
- Penny Black “Christmas Cheer” (sentiment)
- Background – Paper napkin – Michel Design Works “Candy Cane”
- Die – Spellbinders Nestabilities “Labels Twenty”
- Gold bead trim
- Cardstock – Bazzill
- Metallic gold pen
- Copic markers
- Mod Podge Sparkle
I created the background for this card with a napkin, which I adhered to a piece of cardstock with Mod Podge Sparkle. It gave it a nice touch of bling and when it was dry I trimmed to fit the card base. Following the line on the background design, I adhered the bead trim. I stamped the sentiment and layered it on another die-cut that contrasted and is a larger dimension. I then outlined the edges of both die-cuts with metallic gold ink. I colored the raccoon and star, and popped them on top of the sentiment with dimensional adhesive. Thanks for visiting.

- Embossing folder – Cuttlebug “Boo to You”
- Die – Elizabeth Craft Designs “Beaded Circle Frames”
- Ribbon
- Cardstock – Bazzill and Neenah Solar White

I enjoyed using this Halloween inspired embossing folder that I’ve had in my stash for some time! To emphasize the details, I applied black ink over each circle with a sponge dauber. I stamped and colored the cat and bat, then added them to the black “frame” I’d created using leftovers from cutting the Beaded Circle Frames die-cuts for another project. I added the sentiment and tied the card up in a ribbon to finish it off. Thanks for stopping by.

I always enjoy putting together cute animals to create a scene — and mixing up stamp sets to make something truly unique. Because look how natural it is for that porcupine to roll down that slide? I created the sky using Distress inks and also inked the grass to give the different tufts some variation in value. All of the animals and their playground equipment are colored with Copics. It was fun arranging them altogether. Thanks for visiting.

I created this card for my son’s 19th birthday. He likes woodland critters and I gathered rodents and other creatures from a number of stamp sets to get the right combination. It was fun to use the tree stump as the platform for them to dance upon. I cut the “Tree Rings” die from white cardstock, embossed it, and then applied several different Distress inks to get the right coloring. Thanks for stopping by and Happy Birthday, Trenton!

- Embossing powder – Stampendous “White Pearl”
- Cardstock – Neenah Solar White

- Ranger Distress Ink – Broken China
- Patterned paper – American Crafts – Heidi Swapp “Noel”
- Zig Wink of Stella pen – clear
I had a good time creating this scene depicting bunnies having a snowball fight. I’m convinced that this happens in real life! I used Broken China Distress Ink to color the sky with snowflakes heat embossed with pearl embossing powder. The trees were die cut from patterned paper and tucked behind the die cut snowy hills. The bunnies and snowballs were colored with Copics and the snow was accented with the sparkly Wink of Stella pen. Very simple with a healthy helping of cuteness. Thanks for visiting.
