- Art Impressions “Meow-lloween” set
- Lawn Fawn “Spooktacular” (sentiment)
- Embossing folder – Cuttlebug “Boo to You”
- Die – Elizabeth Craft Designs “Beaded Circle Frames”
- Ribbon
- Cardstock – Bazzill and Neenah Solar White
- Copic markers
I enjoyed using this Halloween inspired embossing folder that I’ve had in my stash for some time! To emphasize the details, I applied black ink over each circle with a sponge dauber. I stamped and colored the cat and bat, then added them to the black “frame” I’d created using leftovers from cutting the Beaded Circle Frames die-cuts for another project. I added the sentiment and tied the card up in a ribbon to finish it off. Thanks for stopping by.

- Die cuts – K & Co. Rob and Bob “Halloween Words and Icons”
- Embossing folder – We R Memory Keepers “Gemstones”
- Patterned paper – Pebbles “Trick or Treat”
- Ranger Distress Ink – Seedless Preserves
- Ranger Perfect Pearls Mist – Biscotti
- Cardstock – Paper Accents
This is another card I created with the Halloween die-cuts that I’ve had for a number of years. The background is dry embossed with distress ink applied to the “hills” of the texture. This adds a subtle purple outline of the pattern on the grey cardstock. I sprayed it all with Perfect Pearls mist to give it a nice sheen. Thanks for visiting.

- Die cuts – K&Co. – Rob & Bob Halloween Words and Icons
- Patterned paper – Graphic 45 – “Twas the Night Before Christmas” collection
- Sequins – Doodlebug Designs
- Distress Ink – Black soot
This is a super simple card featuring some die cuts that I’ve had in my stash for a long time. I think more cards using these will be coming! My creative mojo has escaped me, so I’m keeping it simple. I inked the edges with black Distress Ink and scattered a few sequins to dress it up a bit. I thought it was kind of funny that i used some paper from a Christmas collection for the background on a Halloween card! Thanks for stopping by!

I colored the image with Copics and cut it out, placing it on top of the same image that was stamped on the pale blue cardstock. I added a layer of Glossy Accents to the yellow moon for some shine. A pretty simple card with a cute little mouse. Thanks for stopping by.

In honor of World Cardmaking Day on October 1st, I hosted a make and take at Runaway Art and Craft Studio. We played with this stamp set from the French company, Carabelle Studios and I made several cards with it. I stamped the scarecrow on orange cardstock and fussy cut him. The background is stenciled with Distress Inks and the sentiment is from the Stampers Anonymous set. Thanks for visiting.

- Stamps – The Cat’s Pajamas, “Hello Pumpkin”
- Dies –
- The Cat’s Pajamas, “Leaves”
- Sizzix – Tim Holtz Alterations – “Mixed Media” (used for dry embossing)
- Embossing powder – Detail Black
- Cardstock – Paper Accents
I created this card for the TCP Challenge #322 – Embossing. This stamp set is one of my absolute favorites! It combines penguins and pumpkins–what could be better? I embossed the image with black embossing powder and then colored it with Zig Clean Color markers. I fussy-cut the image and arranged the die-cut leaves around it. I used the Sizzix die to emboss the pattern on a green panel for a backdrop. I photographed my card on our only normal shaped pumpkin that seems to be maturing in our garden this year, just to set the mood! Thanks for visiting.

- Stamps – My Favorite Things “Witch Way is the Candy” clear stamp set
- Embossing folder – Sizzix Texture Fades – Tim Holtz “Cobwebs”
- Copic markers
- Wink of Stella
- Cardstock – Bazzill and BoBunny
I really enjoyed coloring these stamped images! The little animals are so cute. I colored each with Copic markers and cut them out by hand. I popped up the frog with some foam adhesive and made a little spring out of paper so the bat would pop out and wiggle a bit. The background is black cardstock embossed with the Cobwebs Texture Fades by Sizzix. I was so pleased to be able to borrow the embossing folder from a friend while I was putting this card together! I then colored the web with my Wink of Stella pen for some sparkle (you know, the way a web would sparkle in the sun). For a closer look, some of the details are shown below.
I am entering this into the Friday Mashup Challenge this week for its Halloween theme. I’ve also been coloring along this month with Kathy’s coloring challenge at The Daily Marker: 30 Day Coloring Challenge. We try to color at least 10 minutes a day! Thanks for visiting today.

- Patterned paper – Bella Blvd. “Color Chaos: Pickle Juice Strandz”
- Cardstock – Bazzill Basics and BoBunny “Boysenberry Dot”
- Dies – Spellbinder Nestabilities “Standard Circles Large”
- Copic markers

‘Tis the season to begin creating all things Halloween! This card features a happy pumpkin with a mouse friend. I colored the stamped i
mage with Copic markers and then layered papers to bring out the various colors in the image. This is also fits the challenge right now at Crafts Galore for a Halloween themed card. This card took me way longer than it should have to construct! I’ve been kind of in a creative slump lately and just not had time to complete a card, so it was a relief to get this put together! Thanks for visiting!

- Stamp – from The Cat’s Pajamas “Hello Pumpkin” set
- Die cut from Spellbinders Nestabilities “Curved Rectangles” die
- Cardstock – BoBunny and Bazzill
- Paper Distresser tool – Tim Holtz / Tonic Studios
- Enamel dots – Teresa Collins Signature Essentials – purple
- Ric-Rac, button and fiber from stash
- Copic markers
This main image a favorite from The Cat’s Pajamas since it features penguins and Halloween in the same stamp! Perfect for the TCP Tuesday Inspiration Challenge #277 with all of the Halloween-y colors. I colored the stamped image with Copic markers, cut it out and popped it up with dimensional adhesive. I added some spooky fiber to the button that I’ve had for years. Actually, I’ve had everything I used for this card for years! I guess that’s why it is so appropriate that Shopping Our Stash Challenge # 174 is Halloween. I used the sketch at The Paper Players for inspiration, Paper Players Challenge #219. I don’t think I’ve ever made one card that fit three challenges before! Finally, I distressed the edges of the cardstock. Thanks for visiting today.
