- Patterned papers – Pebbles “Home Grown: Front Yard and Foliage”
- Die – Elizabeth Craft Designs “Best Wishes”
- Punches – EK Success
- Cardstock – Bazzill
I made this card as sort of a challenge by my friend who owns our local papercrafting store. She gave me the gnome Pebbles paper and asked me to make something with it. This is what I came up with. The gnomes on the patterned paper needed to be the center of attention! Enjoy and thanks for stopping by.

- Stamps – Hero Arts “OWH Missing You”
- Die – Spellbinders Nestabilities “Labels One”
- Border punch – Stampin’ Up “Scallop Edge”
- Patterned paper – Heidi Grace “Sunshowers”
- Cardstock – Bazzill
- White Signo Uni-Ball pen
This card just made me happyto make, with happy colors and a funny bird. Hopefully it will cheer the recipient up. It will go in my final Operation Write Home shipment and hopefully a service member will mail this home to a child who needs a smile. I also made this for Challenge #64 at Addicted to CAS, where the challenge is to make a clean and simple card with an animal. I used some patterned paper and colored the bird with Copic markers. I liked keeping the “white space” on the right hand side with the sentiment. I pulled the whole design together with the hand-drawn “stitching.” I’m coloring for at least 10 minutes everyday for The Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge, which is a fun addition to any day! Thanks for visiting.

At the end of the season, it is tradition for parents of the South Salem High School tennis team to thank the coaches for all of their work and many volunteer hours they’ve contributed. The team just had their end-of-year tournament and awards ceremony this past weekend. The team captains presented each of the three coaches a gift and one of these cards, signed by all of the players. Since the school colors are light blue, red and white, I used them as my palette for the card. I added some extra texture and sheen on one of the panels by applying pearl modeling paste through a stencil. These were fun cards to make! Thanks for stopping by. Go Saxons!

- Stamp – Indigo Blu “Ink Splat Butterfly”
- Die – Poppystamps “Lovely Tendril”
- IndigoBlu Mega Flake gilding flakes “Morris Dance” and FlitterGlu
- Patterned paper – SEI “Mirelle: Goblet”
- Metallic cardstock – DCWV Metallic Gold
- Cardstock – Bazzill
This was my first card made with the IndigoBlu gilding flakes. The May Mixed Media Card Challenge is to create a card with wings and an optional element of foil. The Friday Mashup Challenge #210 going on this week is to create a project with butterflies. This mix of gilding flakes is so pretty with multiple metallic colors mixed in with gold and copper. I stamped the image with FlitterGlu, which is super sticky and then burnished on the gilding flakes. It is sort of magical when you get through. I added the small die cut with another metallic texture for a little more visual interest. Here is a closer look:

- Stamps – Altenew “Vintage Roses” and Hero Arts “Mother’s Day Message”
- Patterned paper – Creative Imaginations – Christine Adolph “Boho”
- Die – Spellbinders Nestabilities “Lacey Circles”
- Cardstock – Bazzill
- Ribbon
I’m late getting in the game here, but here is my Mom’s Mother’s Day card that I delivered today. I love a square card! I used the Clean & Simple Stamping Fall to Layout #11 (take two) as sketch inspiration to create this. I stamped with these wonderful Altenew stamps that you can layer together to make some lovely dimensional flowers. I used Colorbox Chalk Inks to layer the color on these roses and leaves. Thanks for visiting today.

- Stamps – Deep Red “Sock Puppet” and Denami Designs “Baby”
- Dies – Spellbinders Nestabilities “Labels Twenty-Eight”
- Patterned paper – Bundle of Joy “Baby Boy Onesies” (both sides)
- Embossing powder – Stampendous “Periwinkle”
- Cardstock – Paper Arts
Today I’m sharing a card I made with a stamp that I’ve had for quite a long time and never had the proper occasion to use! That seems pretty hard to believe, since a sock puppet should be appropriate for
many occasions! I used the current
The Paper Players Challenge #242, which includes a card sketch. I used a Spellbinders’ label die and popped up the layered image to add dimension and a little emphasis on my focal point. I embossed the stamped sentiment on lower right-hand corner. Thanks for stopping by today.

- Stamps –
- Simon Says Stamp “Tag Sayings”
- Simon Says Stamp “Square Sayings”
- Avery Elle “Petals & Stems”
- Die – Simon Says Stamp “Medium Tags”
- Rhinestones – KaiserCraft – Dark Green
- Cardstock – Bazzill and Paper Accents
- Watercolor paper – Strathmore
- Twine – Little B
For this card I created a watercolor background and stamped over it with silhouette-style floral stamps. I used stamps from several different stamp sets to put this altogether. I always find mixing-up stamp sets to be fun. The current challenge (Challenge #16) for the Simon Says Stamp Flickr Group is to use watercoloring on your card or project. Here you’ve got my entry. Thanks for visiting.

- Stamps – The Cat’s Pajamas “Smells Like Cake”
- Dies – The Cat’s Pajamas “Fancy Flip Cut Ups”
- Patterned paper – Hampton Art Ki Memories “Metro Garden”
- Patterned cardstock – BoBunny
- Solid cardstock – Bazzill
I had not created a flip card like this before. I used The Cat’s Pajamas dies to make it, which made it a simpler process (they also have a video on their site with a demo on how to make a flip card with this die set). The penguins are on the outside of the card and when you flip that portion, you can see the sentiment (below). I colored the penguins with Copic markers. We gave this to my brother-in-law for his birthday. Thanks for stopping by today.

- Stamps – The Cat’s Pajamas “Soar” set
- Patterned paper – Reminisce “Blast Off”
- Cardstock – Paper Accents
- Copic markers
I was inspired by the sketch for the latest Freshly Made Sketches Challenge (#179) when I made this card. It was meant to be, using the spacey bunny from one of my many The Cat’s Pajamas set with my newly acquired patterned paper from Reminisce. I colored all of the stamped images, including the sentiment, with Copics. A clean and simple design with my take on the sketch. Thanks for stopping by.

- Stencil – Donna Downey “Leaf-Stem Trio”
- Stamp – from Hero Arts “Live Life” set
- Cardstock – BoBunny
- Dylusions Ink Spray – Fresh Lime
- Distress Ink – Peeled Paint
I am a big fan of leaf motifs of any kind, be they featured on stamps, stencils, photos, or anything else. So when I saw the Addicted to CAS (Clean and Simple) Challenge with the code word: Green, the first thing I thought of was leaves. I sprayed the Dylusions spray ink through the leaf stencil for the background and then stamped the sentiment. I then blended Distress Ink around the edges and mounted it onto a folded card. Thanks for visiting today.
