- Background stamp – Penny Black “Damask”
- Butterfly stamp and die – Hampton Art Stamps and Spellbinders “Butterflies”
- Pearls – Queen and Company and Kaiser Craft
- Patterned paper – SEI “Field Notes”
- Inks – Ranger Adirondak Lights “Cloudy Blue” and Distress Inks and markers in Peeled Paint, Stormy Sky, Faded Jeans, Mulled Lavendar, and Dusty Concord
I was inspired to create this card based on the Clean and Simple 2 class I’m currently taking on Online Card Classes. The instructor for this technique was Shari Carroll. I created the background using shipping labels stamped with my background stamp, cut-up, and then off-set. I colored the butterfly stamped image with Distress markers and edged with Distress ink. More Distress ink was added to the background with the pearls. This was a very fun technique to try and the Penny Black stamp is really beautiful. Thanks for stopping by.

- Sentiment stamp – from Hero Arts “Live Life” set
- Border stamp – Lawn Fawn “Belinda’s Borders”
- Stencil – Studio Calico “Chevron” Huey’s Mask
This is the first card I made for the Clean and Simple 2 class offered at Online Card Classes. I misted the cardstock with a homemade ink solution I made with Distress re-inkers. I decided to accent the card with a border that repeated the chevron design of the stencil. I heat embossed the border with white embossing powder. I drew a dashed line across the bottom of the top portion. The top and bottom chevron portions are popped up with dimensional adhesive. This was a very fun, clean and simple card to make! I’ve taken a number of classes from Online Card Classes and I would highly recommend them. They provide a ton of inspiration, techniques and instruction. Thanks for visiting today.

- Stamp – Autumn Leaves “Flower Swirls”
- Sentiment stamp – from Hero Arts “OWH Right at Home” set
- Patterned paper – Basic Grey “Lime Rickey” 6 X 6″ paper pad
- Distress Ink – Ranger “Wild Honey”
- Cardstock – Bazzill
I was inspired by sketch #221 at Clean and Simple Stamping for this card. The theme for the Midweek Throwdown challenge at Operation Write Home Stars & Stamps this week is Miss You. So I put the two challenges together and made this card. It features the stamped flowers colored with Copic markers. I applied Distress Ink in Wild Honey to the edges of the individual layers. Thanks for visiting!

- Stamps – pumpkins and foliage from Hampton Art Stamps/Graphic 45, “Happy Haunting 2” set
- Sentiment stamp – Hero Arts “Year Round Sentiments”
- Patterned paper – We R Memory Keepers “Black Widow” 6 X 6″ pad
- Cardstock – Bazzill and Jennie Bowlen
- Distress Markers – Ranger
I used Sketch #212 from Clean & Simple Stamping for this birthday card. It has a real Autumnal feeling to it. I combined three stamps from the Hampton Art set, masking one pumpkin behind the other. I colored them with Distress Markers and spritzed them, then went in with a water brush to do more watercoloring. Thanks for stopping by.

- Stamps – Inkadinkado “Pumpkin Swirl Mini” and Memory Box “Fall Combo”
- Kraft paper
- Cardstock – Bazzill
- Sakura Gelly Roll Stardust pen – Copper star
- Embossing powder – Stampendous matte clear
I made a clean and simple card for the 365 Cards Day 196 Challenge: Keep It Simple. Truly clean and simple cards can be quite a challenge. I decided to make a Fall card with lots of white space. I stamped the pumpkin with orange pigment ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder to give it some texture. The faux stitching with the sparkly gel pen tied the elements together a bit. Thanks for visiting today.

- Stamp – Impression Obsession “Vertical Greetings”
- Image – from the Internet
- Cardstock – BoBunny and Bazzill
I’m finally getting a card posted again. Too much work and running around, and not enough card-making time! I made this one for my son’s friend, who likes weasels! I’m sure that this is my first weasel card. The image worked well with this sketch from Clean & Simple Stamping (Sketch #202). It is a very simple card, made mostly of cardstock. I popped up the image and the sentiment. Just a fun card for a 13-year-old.

- Stamps – Stampendous “Birch Buddies” and Hero Arts “Everyday Sayings”
- Patterned papers – My Mind’s Eye “So Sophie: Possibilities” and SEI “Claire: Winsome”
- Die cut made with Spellbinders Nestabilities “Labels Twenty”
This is a simple card I made using Sketch #161 at Card Positioning Systems (CPS). I was also inspired to try the color challenge at Operation Write Home Stars and Stamp: Turquoise and Brown. I do like this color combination. I used some patterned paper scraps that worked together well, added some accents with Copic markers to the stamped image and layered the sentiment to make it stand out. I hope it will be a nice one for one of our deployed troops to use to write home. Thanks for stopping by!
