Happy Father’s Day

  • Stamps – Hero Arts “Hipster Animals” and “Father’s Day Message”
  • Dies –
    • Elizabeth Craft Designs “Beaded Circle Frames”
    • Spellbinders Nestabilities “Standard Circles Large”
  • Patterned paper – KaiserCraft “Mister Fox Collection”
  • Watercolor paper – Strathmore cold press
  • Cardstock – Bazzill
  • Ink pads – Versafine “Onyx Black” and “Satin Red”
  • Zig Clean Color markers

I stamped the bear and his accessories in Versafine ink. He’s quite dapper! I always like dressing up cute animals! That’s why it so appropriately fits the bill for Week 253 Challenge at Casology: Clothes. I added color to the bear and the stamped sentiment with Zig Clean Color markers and added water with a waterbrush to blend and soften the colors. I fussy-cut the bear (I have the dies, but wanted to layer the accessories directly to the same layer). I adhered it to the patterned circle die-cut, layered with the Beaded Circle Frame die-cut, with some dimensional adhesive. I trimmed the sentiment into a flag and layered on black cardstock strip. I placed all elements onto the card base to complete the card. Thanks for visiting.

Birdie’s Tea Time

  • Stamps –
    • Elizabeth Craft Designs – “Tea Time”
    • Hero Arts – CL738 – “Messages with Flourish”
  • Dies –
    • Elizabeth Craft Designs – “Tea Time”
    • Spellbinders Nestabilities “Fleur de Lis Rectangles”
  • Ranger Distress Oxide Inks: Broken China, Wilted Violet, and Worn Lipstick
  • Cardstock – Bazzill and BoBunny

I used several different media to create this card. I started with the background, combining many layers of Distress Oxide inks and water. The teacups are colored with Prismacolor pencils and KaiserCraft metallic gel pens. This is a card for the Things with Wings Challenge at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog. Ornament Christmas Card

Joy-ChristmasOrnament

  • Dies – Impression Obsession “Vintage Ornament,” Elizabeth Craft Designs “Sprig with Berries,” and Penny Black “Love and Joy”
  • Embossing folder – Cuttlebug “Christmas”
  • Cardstock – Bazzill and BoBunny
  • WorldWin translucent vellum “Frost Iridescent”
  • Silver mirror cardstock

This card is made up of die cuts and embossing–no stamping! Not only that, I combined dies from three different companies, which made it kind of fun! It is also fitting for the CAS-ual Fridays Clean and Simple Challenge #122 “Out on a Limb.” Thanks for stopping by today.

Evergreen Christmas Card

Evergreen-Joy

  • Dies – die cuts made with Elizabeth Craft Designs “Pinecone” and “Sprig with Berries” and Penny Black “Love and Joy”
  • Embossing folder – Sizzix
  • Patterned paper – BoBunny “Silver and Gold” collection
  • Metallic cord
  • Gold Circle Diamond Dots Stickers – Stampendous
  • Cardstock – Bazzill

I created this Christmas card using several different die cuts, which made it kind of fun, as I mixed different colors of cardstock for some richness and a little more complexity to the imagery. This is a perfect response to the Shopping our Stash challenge #129: Holiday or Winter.  Thanks for visiting today.
