- Stamps – Hero Arts – Beautiful Day Agapanthus
- Cardstock –
- BoBunny Periwinkle Double-Dot
- Paper Accents White Glitter
- Ribbon – May Arts
- Ranger Distress Oxide Ink – Shaded Lilac
- Ranger Stickles™ – Diamond
- Copic markers
I began this card by stamping the lovely Hero Arts Agapanthus onto white cardstock and coloring it with Copic markers. I edged the white cardstock with Shaded Lilac Distress Oxide Ink to subtly repeat the flower color. I created a background using matching BoBunny dotted cardstock and “slats” of white sparkle cardstock, attaching the background to the card base. I popped up the focal image with dimensional adhesive and tied matching ribbon with a sheen at the top of the card. The final touch was adding some sparkle to the flowers with Diamond Stickles™ glitter glue. I like how the colors and sparkle all tie together to make a cohesive card. Thanks for stopping by today.

- PaperArtsy – JOFY 62
- Hero Arts – CM335 – Hero Greetings Sending Smiles
- Stencil – PaperArtsy PS130 (Design by JOFY)
- Acrylic Paints – PaperArtsy Fresco Finish Acrylics: Sherbet, Bougainvillea, Vanilla, Antarctic, Glacier Ice
- Watercolors – Prima Tropicals set
- Embossing Powder – Stampendous Detail White
- Cardstock – Bazzill
- Brad – Lasting Impressions
- Posca pens (black and white)
I created this mixed media card in phases. First I stamped out the flower stamps onto watercolor paper with Archival ink and added color with some watercolors. Once dry, I colored in areas with black and white Posca pens and added a few doodles of my own. After fussy-cutting the flowers out, I began working on the background. I made a number of gel plate prints using PaperArtsy Fresco paints and the JOFY stencil that matched the flower stamps. I selected one that I made with a small plate that framed the flowers nicely, then doodled around the perimeter and trimmed it out. I layered the flowers together and attached them in the center with a brad. I finished the card by adhering the flower to the background and adding a sentiment that I heat embossed. Thanks for stopping by.

One of my favorite recurring characters in the stamp world for me is this bunny! I colored Bun-Bun with Copic markers before fussy-cutting him out and then mounted him on the heart die-cut with dimensional adhesive. The black and white checked paper was cute with a scalloped die and layered onto a piece of white cardstock, adhering it to the pink card base. I doodled a border around the background on the pink card base and then adhered the sentiment which is backed with red mirror cardstock. To finish the card off, I popped up Bun-Bun and adhered some sequins around him for a little pizzazz. Thanks for stopping by!

I really like the strong lines in this card design and really had fun interpreting the sketch. The sketch is the current sketch at the Case This Sketch site. I created the bold lines with washi tape using the dotted cardstock as a base. I then heat embossed the sentiment so that it would match the black and white of many of the elements. Very simple, but I was pleased with the outcome. Thanks for visiting today.

This card is another for the military drive my friend is doing. I colored the happy little fox with Copic markers and cut it out with the scalloped die. I then pulled out an old favorite patterned paper collection from long ago and created a design with it. Thanks for stopping by.

I’m still embracing creating cards that are different from the Christmas cards that I concentrated on during the last month or two. It is fun to pull out some different supplies! For this I pulled some scraps together and used some pretty dies in my stash to create a simple card. This will be added to the box I’m putting together with cardmaking friends to send to a military unit (for the soldiers to send home to their friends and families). Thanks for stopping by.
By the way, my new friend pictured to the right of my card was a Christmas gift. Is he cute or what?! He is such a good model that he may appear in more upcoming photos! Thanks, Rene’!

This is a clean and simple card with a bright palette–a fresh look after holiday cards! I created the background using watercolors and blending them vertically. Once it was dry, I stamped the floral silhouette and sentiment onto the watercolored panel and added sequins for some visual interest. I layered the panel onto the subtle patterned paper and a matching card base. Very simple! Thanks for visiting.

Happy New Year! I created this card for a challenge I was hosting today for an online cardmaking group. It was my first card of 2019. It had been a while since I created a card using patterned papers, especially one that wasn’t for the holidays! So it was fun to put this together. I colored the cute penguin image with Copic markers and layered the patterned papers. Very simple, but bright and cheery! Thanks for visiting and have a wonderful 2019.
