- Stamps – Simon Says Stamp “Square Sayings” clear set
- Dies – Simon Says Stamp “Tri Square”
- Patterned papers – American Crafts Dear Lizzy “Lucky Charm”
- Embossing folder – Cuttlebug “Polka Dots”
- Stampendous “Detail White” embossing powder
- Cardstock – Bazzill
For this card, I used Operation Write Home Stars and Stamps Sketch #199 as inspiration. I decided to emboss the entire background to add a little visual interest to all of that negative space. For the top square, I used patterned paper and embossed a heart I stamped with the Simon Says Stamp set, using white powder. For the second, I stamped the background with a heart pattern in the set and then over-stamped the sentiment with black ink. For the final square, I used the patterned paper for both the little envelope and the background, popping up the envelope with a bit more dimensional adhesive. Thanks for visiting.

I made another Valentine for Operation Write Home today. This one features one of the sentiment stamps made by Hero Arts especially for Operation Write Home! This is for the Our Daily Bread Designs card challenge for November, which is to make Valentines and love cards. Each month this company will pay to ship up to two boxes of cards to the troops overseas, if we make 50 cards for this challenge. It looks like this will be #45, so we’re making good progress! Thanks for visiting today.

- Stamps – My Favorite Things “Valentine Flopsey”
- Patterned papers – My Mind’s Eye “Happy Day”
- Cardstock – BoBunny and Bazzill
- Raffia
Today’s card is a Valentine using OWH Stars and Stamps Sketch #198. I colored the bunny with Copic markers and cut it out, popping it up just a bit so he stands out nicely against the polka dot background. Thanks for stopping by.

- Stamps – Stampendous “Rooco Reach” and Simon Says Stamp “Lots of Hearts”
- Patterned Papers – Heidi Grace “Sunshowers” 8 X 8″ paper pad
- Cardstock – Bazzill and American Crafts
I get a kick out of this happy little raccoon. He’s carried a pumpkin before, and now he’s carrying a heart. I used Sketch #197 at Operation Write Home Stars and Stamps. I colored the images with Copic markers. Lots of layers and clean lines. Thanks for stopping by today.

- Stamps – The Cat’s Pajamas “Wish”
- Patterned paper – Graphic 45 “Totally Wicked”
- Star Punch – EK Success
- Die – Spellbinders Nestabilities “Labels Twenty-Two”
- Cardstock – Bazzill
I really like the bunnies featured in some of The Cat’s Pajamas stamps! This set is perfect for this card which I made for the Operation Write Home (OWH) Stars and Stamps Midweek Throwdown Challenge: Seeing Stars. I colored the image with Copic markers and popped up three punched stars in the lower left corner to balance out the composition. I’m trying to get going on my next box of OWH cards. My goal is to create 26 more cards for OWH before the end of the year! Eeek. So that means 25 after this one! Wish me luck. Thanks for visiting.

- Diecut/sticker – Authentique Paper “Peaceful Details”
- Die cut – made from Impression Obsession’s “Snowflakes” die set

This is a winter friendship card that I put in my latest OWH box this week. I used the current sketch at Operation Write Home Stars and Stamps: Sketch #196. There was no stamping on this card, I just used the cardstock weight stickers that are part of this Authentique collection. Thanks for visiting today!

- Stamps – Close To My Heart “Seasons and Nature: Snowflakes”
- Stencil – Tattered Angels “Winder Crystals” Glimmer Screens Stencils
- Ranger Distress inks – Mulled Lavendar, Iced Spruce, Seedless Preserves, Weathered Wood
- Cardstock – Bazzill
- Sheer ribbon
I had fun making the background for this card with subtle layers of ink. I used the snowflake stencil with Distress inks, applying the ink with a foam applicator and blending. Then I stamped snowflakes and added the ribbon and sentiment to add dimension and pull it all together. I then layered the whole thing on a lavendar card. I created this for the Operation Write Home Stars and Stamps Snow Much Fun Challenge for the Midweek Throwdown a couple of weeks ago (a little delayed!). Thanks for stopping by.

- Stamp – Hero Arts “Painted Flower”
- Patterned papers – KaiserCraft “Black & White Timeless” 6-!/2″ pad and Echo Park – “For the Record” 6 X 6″ pad
- Border Punch – Stampin’ Up “Scallop Edge”
- Cardstock – Bazzill
- Distress Ink – Ranger “Broken China”
This is a great color scheme. The challenge for Day 276 at 365Cards was to create a card using black, white and blue. I tried to stay strictly with those colors, stamping the image in black ink on white and distressing the edges with blue ink. The patterned papers are also in those colors and the base card is a light blue. This will make a nice any occasion card for Operation Write Home. Thanks for stopping by.
