Flowers for You

  • Stamp – “For You” by Northwoods Rubber Stamps
  • Die cut – Spellbinders Nestabilities “Fancy Tags”
  • Patterned paper – Chatterbox
  • Flowers & Leaves – Prima
  • Rhinestones – Kaisercraft
  • Cardstock – Bazzill

This card is based on the current sketch at Card Positioning Systems (CPS): Sketch #212. My interpretation is a little bit different, since it was supposed to feature banners strung across it. But I kept seeing flowers with the leaves hanging down (sort of like banners).

A Cup of Tea For You – C&S Sketch #134

  • Stamp – Cup and Saucer – The free stamp from the January 2011 issue of Craft Stamper. I love this stamp. It was designed by Kim Costello for the magazine.
  • Stamp – “For You” from Inkadinkado “Greetings” clear set
  • Patterned papers in yellow, pink, blue and green – Memory Box

The sketch for this card is the current one at Clean and Simple Stamping: Sketch #134. I cut out the cups after stamping them on patterned paper and popped them up in formation.

OWH – Mother’s Day

These cards feature “Petals and Poetry” stickers by Penny Black.  The card on the right is inspired by the OWH Sketch Challenge #62. Patterned papers include BoBunny polka dots, Basic Grey “Hello Luscious” and Creative Imaginations Signature Collection. Cardstock is Bazzill, die cut is from the Spellbinders Nestabilities “Fancy Tags” set and “Happy Mother’s Day” stamp is by Hero Arts.

I only shipped off a couple of Mother’s Day cards in my small shipment today to Operation Write Home. Every little bit counts!

Clean and Simple – Fall to Layout 133

  • Die-cut strip – Tim Coffey “Blossomwood” – K&Company
  • Sentiment Stamp – PSX
  • Embossing plate – “Flourish” by Sizzix for Stampin’ Up
  • Cardstock – Bazzill
  • Gemstones – Hero Arts

This sketch is the Fall to Layout (FTL) 133 currently on Clean and Simple Stamping. Thanks for checking-in.

OWH Sketch #61

  • Butterfly die cut – Paper House Productions
  • Stamp – “Hello” from Hero Arts “Live Life” Collection
  • Patterned paper – American Crafts “Elegant Caviar” (both sides: the dots and the light blue solid)
  • Black velvet ric rac
  • Cardstock – Bazzill

This sketch is the current one from Operation Write Home. I like it because it is very simple and leaves a lot to individual interpretation. This Hero Arts stamp set is really perfect for OWH cards. It is a group of sentiments that are appropriate and graphically pleasing to stand on their own.  This is the first card for my new batch of cards to send to OWH. I sent my first group last week and they have been received for processing. I’d like to do some Mother’s Day cards for my next shipment, but the deadline is fast approaching so I need to get busy!

Clean and Simple Challenge #132

  • Stamp – Fred B. Mullett “Big Winter Queen Anne’s Lace”
  • Inks – Used Marvy markers to color stamp direct-to-rubber. Inked edges of card with “Mint” ColorBox pigment ink.
  • Patterned Paper – My Mind’s Eye
  • Ribbon – Jo-Ann Holiday Inspirations

This is the current sketch challenge (#132) on Clean & Simple Stamping. The Fred Mullett stamp fits this sketch perfectly.

OWH Scallops Challenge

  • Stamp – Crafty Individuals by Magenta “Calligraphy Bird”
  • Patterned paper – “Black Paisley” by Doodlebug Design Co.
  • Cardstock – Bazzill
  • Ink – Brilliance “Mediterranean Blue” and “Platinum Planet”
  • Border punch – EK Success
  • Scallop diecut – Spellbinders Nestabilities – Classic Scalloped Square Large

Clean and Simple Sketch #131

  • Cupcake Stamps – Hero Arts “Cupcakes” ClearDesign
  • Sentiment Stamp – “You Take the Cake” by The Cat’s Pajamas
  • Images colored with Sakura Glaze pens and Copic markers
  • Cardstock – Bazzill and BoBunny polka dots
  • Embossing plate – Sizzix “Harlequin” for Stampin’ Up
  • Card edged with Ice Blue ColorBox Chalk Ink

This card is inspired by the Clean and Simple card sketch #131. This card is a perfect candidate to send off to Operation Write Home. They need lots of birthday cards.

CPS #208 – Thinking of You

  • Patterned papers – Brenda Walton “Celeste” by K&Company
  • Poppies – Tim Coffey “Blossomwood” borders by K&Company
  • Bee epoxy sticker –  Tim Coffey “Blossomwood” by K&Company
  • Stamp – “Thinking of You” by Hero Arts

Inked edges with Colorbox Chalk ink in Chestnut Roan. Adapted Card Positioning Systems (CPS) sketch # 208.

Operation Write Home Easter Card

  • Card Sketch – Operation Write Home Stars and Stripes Card Sketch #59
  • Stamps – “Bunny Fluffles” by Stampendous and “Hoppity Easter” by PrintWorks
  • Patterned papers – “Delightful collection” and “Purple Pansy” by Little Yellow Bicycle
  • Cardstock – Bazzill
  • Colored image with Copic markers and Sakura Jelly Roll pens. Inked edges with ColorBox Rosebud ink.

This is my first Operation Write Home (OWH) Easter card. I really like this sketch–nice and simple. The deadline for completing Easter cards for shipment is March 18th, so I need to get busy. I just got my official rubber stamp for OWH (to use to stamp the back of each card). I’m set to go.
