- Cardstock – BoBunny and Bazzill
This is a super simple card using Sketch #199 over at Clean and Simple Stamping. I really like the pinwheels and it will be perfect for a friend of my son who is celebrating his birthday tomorrow. Enjoy your day!

- Stamp – Stampington & Company “Fresh Flowers Elements” collection
- Patterned papers – My Mind’s Eye “29th Street Market” collection
- Cardstock – Bazzill
This is a pretty clean and simple card. I really feel that the rose silhouette stamp is beautiful and strong enough to stand alone with the muted tones of the patterned papers as a backdrop. I really enjoyed this sketch, the first I’ve used from Freshly Made Sketches–this is Freshly Made Sketch #42. Thanks for stopping by today and I hope to see you soon.

- Stamps – Crafty Individuals (floral) and Hero Arts “Manuscript Background”
- Patterned paper – Basic Grey “Periphery Collection: Cork”
- Cardstock – Bazzill
I made this card using the current sketch at Operation Write Home Stars and Stamps blog, which is Sketch #126. The stamped foreground image is actually just one half of the actual image. I cut it in half to fit the card better! The background of the dark brown floral image includes a script, but I also stamped the Hero Arts manuscript background stamp in a lighter brown ink for some added interest. Thanks for visiting here today.

- Butterfly die cut – SEI “Field Notes: The Sample Box”
- Stamp – from Stampin’ Up “Sincere Salutations” set
- Patterned paper – from SEI “Bright Blossom” collection
- Border punch – EK Success “Diamond Lace” edger
- Cardstock – DCWV Solid Glitter Yellow and Bazzill Basics
I’m going through a butterfly phase here! This isn’t the last one either–another butterfly card is in the works! I really liked this sketch from Clean and Simple Stamping: Sketch #194. I enjoyed looking at the sketch and putting the pieces together to fit it. This card is in the mail to a magician friend who is under the weather. We hope it cheers Tom up. Thanks for stopping by today.

- Patterned paper – Basic Grey “Out of Print: publication”
- Border punch – EK Success Edger Punch “Morocco Lace”
- Stamp – Hero Arts “Flourish Birthday”
- Chipboard adhesive butterfly – K & Company “Flora & Fauna Butterfly”
- Cardstock – Bazzill
This is a wonderful sketch over at Clean & Simple Stamping right now: Clean and Simple Sketch #184. The overlapping of border punched strips is very effective and can make really amazing designs. Now that I tried this punch I want to try some others! Depending on the punch it can be nice with patterned papers, too, but there was too much detail in my chosen punch to make that work well in this case. Thanks for stopping by today.

- Stamp – from Darcie’s “Here Comes the Sun” cling stamp set
- Patterned papers – Basic Grey “Lime Rickey” 6 X 6 paper pad
- Die cuts – made from Spellbinders “Butterflies,” “Lacey Circles” and “Standard Circles Large”
- Cardstock – Bazzill
I made this card with the current Clean and Simple Sketch #183 in response to the Midweek Throwdown Challenge at Operation Write Home. This week’s challenge was to use a green and yellow color palette. I really like this sketch and the pieces just fell together for me from my stash! Plus I was able to use one of the stamps from the new Darcie’s set I just got, which I think will be cheery for more Operation Write Home cards to come. Thanks for visiting today.

I used the current card sketch at OWH Sketch #112 for inspiration for this card. I just bought this BoBunny paper yesterday and had to try it out! This is one of the last of my Mother’s Day cards for OWH, as I really need to get them in the mail now. Thanks for the visit and I hope to see you soon.

- Patterned Papers – Basic Grey “Bittersweet” 6″ X 6″ paper pad
- Gemstones – Hero Arts

I used the Operation Write Home Stars & Stamps Sketch #111 for this card. The image and patterned paper strips are edged with chalk ink and the flowers have small little gems for the centers. A simple design all-in-all. Thanks for visiting today!

- Stamps – All Hero Arts: “Real Fuchsia,” “Real Field Wildflower” and “Mother’s Day Message”
- BoBunny Back to Backs “Chiffon Dot” cardstock
- Ranger Distress Stains and Inks: Peeled Paint, Dusty Concord, Fired Brick, Mustard Seed, Dried Marigold
- Ranger Perfect Pearls Mist – Biscotti
- Watercolor paper
- Twine
I used a watercolor technique for this floral card, applying Ranger Distress stains and inks direct to rubber on two different stamps, then spraying them with Perfect Pearls Mist before stamping them. I like the way the inks blend, but don’t mix or produce muddy colors. And the mist gives the image a very subtle sparkle that binds to the ink (so it doesn’t rub off).
The sketch is the current FTL 180 at Clean & Simple Stamping. It works perfectly for the featured flowers, which are perfect for another OWH Mother’s Day card! Hurray! We are currently trying to make lots of Mother’s Day cards for the troops to send home to their moms, and that is our goal for this week’s Operation Write Home Midweek Throwdown. Thanks for stopping by today.

- Stamps – Inkadinkado – “Hibiscus” and Uptown Design Company “Spiral/Leaf Element”
- Tsukineko Goosebumps Shimmer Spray
- Ranger Distress Inks: Peeled Paint, Chipped Sapphire, Broken China and Dusty Concord
- Perfect Pearls Mist – Biscotti
I made 10 of these ATCs to exchange in my Vamp Stamp News book club. We were following the January 2012 issue of the magazine, which covered many topics including Distress Inks and Goosebumps. Spraying the Goosebumps on the paper and then applying the inks over it made both an interesting texture (shiny and bumpy!) and it forms a resist to the water soluble ink.
