Here is my latest “homework” from my Creative Chemistry 101 online class. These two tags were made using Distress Inks and Perfect Pearls. It is a bit difficult to see the full result in a photo, but there is quite a sheen on these from the mica powder in the Perfect Pearls. This is a wonderful technique–I love it! These were made with several layers of homemade Distress Ink sprays (from mixing re-inkers with water and Perfect Pearls), then additional Perfect Pearls brushed on in some places, and then more Distress Inks applied with blending foam. Thanks for stopping by.

The trilliums on our property finally opened up their blooms. Max heard it was National Pet Day yesterday when I took this photo, so he photo-bombed. 🐈⬛ #panthermode #maxcat #maximuscatimus #tuxedocatsofinstagram #trilliumflower #willamettevalleyflora #willamettevalleywildflowersAnother piece I made while doing the Artfoamies Challenge that @natkalbach and @iamsarahmatthews are hosting this month. I’m continuing to use @artfoamies foam stamps on my gel plate. I used Distress Oxide inks Once again. The colors of these inks stamp so nicely and some fun reactive things happen as well!I’m jumping in to the Artfoamies Challenge using @artfoamies that @natkalbach and @iamsarahmatthews are hosting this month. I’m sharing three prints here, playing with patterns of the foam stamps on my gel plate. I used Distress Oxide inks and on the second and third prints, followed up with some Buff @paperartsy paint. It is a very satisfying sensation I feel when I stamp with foam stamps!- Follow penguinpapers on WordPress.com
