Here is my latest “homework” from my Creative Chemistry 101 online class. These two tags were made using Distress Inks and Perfect Pearls. It is a bit difficult to see the full result in a photo, but there is quite a sheen on these from the mica powder in the Perfect Pearls. This is a wonderful technique–I love it! These were made with several layers of homemade Distress Ink sprays (from mixing re-inkers with water and Perfect Pearls), then additional Perfect Pearls brushed on in some places, and then more Distress Inks applied with blending foam. Thanks for stopping by.

Latest on InstagramV is for Violet - picked up another day in the ABC printing challenge hosted by @gelliarts . I’m juggling lots of different projects right now, and not staying on track with my printing. But I’m showing up today!A new, “fangtastic” class is coming up in early October at Runaway Art and Craft Studio! I’ll be teaching you how to make three batty cards with adorable Lawn Fawn stamps, dies and stencils.Q is for Q-Tip - prompt for the ABC Printing Challenge hosted by @gelliarts . Since I’m such a fan of dots and I discovered how nicely the tip of a cotton swab works as a dot-making tool, I employed one to help me create layer upon layer of dottage (made that word up) as I approach my dotage! Now that I’ve angered autocorrect with my word choices, I’m ready to start my week! Happy Monday!
