Here is my latest “homework” from my Creative Chemistry 101 online class. These two tags were made using Distress Inks and Perfect Pearls. It is a bit difficult to see the full result in a photo, but there is quite a sheen on these from the mica powder in the Perfect Pearls. This is a wonderful technique–I love it! These were made with several layers of homemade Distress Ink sprays (from mixing re-inkers with water and Perfect Pearls), then additional Perfect Pearls brushed on in some places, and then more Distress Inks applied with blending foam. Thanks for stopping by.

I like valentine cards that are cute and silly like the ones we used to exchange in elementary school. Cute animals are pretty much a requirement for me as well, and bonus points for puns! I think a lot of people think they should be flowery, lots of roses and mushy, but not me! 😂Happy Saturday! I’m sharing another Valentine today, featuring more Lawn Fawn cuteness! I can’t get enough of these cute beavers. This is another card we’ll be making during my class at @runawayartandcraftstudio in Salem later this month, either January 24th or January 28th. Contact Runaway Art and Craft Studio at (503) 881-6270 if you’d like to sign up. Check out my previous post to see another card we’ll make. What’s this?! I was so pleased to see some cute beavers in Lawn Fawn’s latest product release! Oregon is the Beaver state after all, and we actually have busy beavers building dams in our creek.- Follow penguinpapers on WordPress.com
