Here is my latest “homework” from my Creative Chemistry 101 online class. These two tags were made using Distress Inks and Perfect Pearls. It is a bit difficult to see the full result in a photo, but there is quite a sheen on these from the mica powder in the Perfect Pearls. This is a wonderful technique–I love it! These were made with several layers of homemade Distress Ink sprays (from mixing re-inkers with water and Perfect Pearls), then additional Perfect Pearls brushed on in some places, and then more Distress Inks applied with blending foam. Thanks for stopping by.

Latest on InstagramToday is Day 27 of the #birgitkoopsengelprintingchallenge and the prompt is Straws.Today is Day 26 of the #birgitkoopsengelprintingchallenge and the prompt is Cardboard. It is fun to use things that are basically “free” supplies when creating, especially since we often use an occasional higher end item! It is fun to use the cardboard itself in some mixed media pieces, but here it works as a nice stamp. I’ve used edges, exposed corrugated edges, and flat paper for many different textures.Today is Day 25 of the #birgitkoopsengelprintingchallenge and the prompt is Bubble Wrap. This stuff is always a winner! Here I’ve used two sizes for two different patterns.
