Today is not actually Day 16 of the of the @gelliarts March Gel Printing Challenge, but that’s where I am with the prompts! My catching up will take a few days (I really like this challenge, so I hope I can do it!). The prompt for Day 16 is Layers. This print consists of 4 layers and if you swipe through the carousel of photos, you can see the reverse order of the layers. I used the same stencil for each color but moved it around for some added interest and used ghost prints for some of the layers. It is such a kick to build layers and see where a print might go!Today is not actually Day 15 of the of the @gelliarts March Gel Printing Challenge, but that’s where I am with the prompts! My catching up will take a few days (I really like this challenge, so I hope I can do it!). The prompt for Day 15 is Black and White. I created this print by getting an impression in the ink on my plate with a paper towel/kitchen roll. If you swipe to the second one, it is one of the Helleborus prints from yesterday’s semi-fail—but it *is* black and white!Today is not actually Day 14 of the @gelliarts March Gel Printing Challenge. My catching up will take a few days (I really like this challenge, so I hope I can do it!). The prompt for Day 14 is Flowers. I really enjoy making botanical prints with plants I encounter. I must admit it is challenging to find a flower in our yard right now! But this Helleborus is always the first thing to bloom.
