These cards were made using the Origami necktie tutorial at Operation Write Home Stars & Stripes blog. There is a shortage of Father’s Day cards going over to the troops, so the challenge is to make at least 5 necktie cards and send them off to the shippers. My son, Trenton, is a master at Origami, so he made all of the ties and I made the shirts and put them together! Teamwork! Here is a closer look at a couple of them:
- Origami paper – Aitoh rice paper
- Cardstock – Bazzill
- Brads – star and screw brads by Creative Impressions, Inc., mini-buttons by Making Memories, other brads by American Crafts and Lasting Impressions
Thanks for helping out, Trenton!
