OWH Challenge – Cut It Out!

I made this card for the OWH Virtual Carmaking Party going on right now. This is OWH VCMP Challenge #9: Cut It Out, which means we choose die cuts and punches to use in our card designs. There are a number of cute little furry creatures in this stamp set–hard to just pick two! I colored them with Copics and went on my way. Thanks for stopping by.

OWH – Nautical Masculine Card Challenge

We landlubbers are in the midst of a virtual cardmaking party (VCMP) while some of the other OWHers are on a cardmaking cruise. This challenge is one of the first of many: OWH VCMP Challenge #2: Nautical Masculine Card Challenge. I’ve had this stamp set for a while and hadn’t had an opportunity to use it! For some reason I had a thing for that crab! This card can be used for any occasion or just for a note home. Thanks for checking in!

OWH – Die-cuts Challenge

I made this card as a sample card for the February 1st Midweek Throwdown at Operation Write Home Stars & Stamps. I love the Memory Box dies that have come on the market in recent times; these have such intricate detail! The diecuts are really the centerpiece and I popped-up the sentiment and added some faux stitching around the edges to finish it off. Thanks for visiting and be sure to participate in the challenge.

It has been a long time since I’ve posted with all of the holiday preparations and all! This is one of the cards I made to send from our family. Unfortunately I didn’t make as many as I would have liked to get in the mail. I do love all of the penguins that The Cat’s Pajamas has in their sets! These guys are doing the “See No Evil, Hear No Evil, Speak No Evil” thing! I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas!
