CPS – Card Challenge #226

Stamps – Leaf – Ann-ticipations and Sentiment – Memory Box “Fall Combo”

Patterned paper – Basic Grey “Archaic: Ancient,” BoBunny “Flourish”

I used the Card Positioning Systems Sketch #226 for this card design. I always like to use fall colors and leaves in my cards. Thanks for checking-in.

CPS Sketch Challenge #225

  • Stamp – Hero Arts “Two Flourish Flowers”
  • Patterned papers – American Crafts “Elegant” collection and Reminisce “Basic Micro Dot”
  • Cardstock – Bazzill
  • Specialty paper – silver metallic with a moire pattern (source unknown)

I used CPS Sketch #225 for this card. I colored the stamp with markers, which I rarely do, and used some scraps from my very large patterned paper stash! This was a very nice sketch to work with. Thanks for visiting!

CPS Sketch # 222 – Happy Father’s Day

  • Stamp – Inkadinkado “Happy Father’s Day”
  • Patterned papers – Basic Grey “Curio” collection
  • Cardstock – Bazzill
  • Edges inked with ColorBox Chalk ink – Chestnut Roan

This card is my husband’s Father’s Day card, made with the current sketch at CPS: Sketch #222. I really like these papers combined–and works well for a masculine card. Thanks for visiting.

CPS Sketch 221 – Owl

  • Owl stamp – Darcie’s “Owl Be Queen” set
  • Sentiment stamp – “Happy Birthday” from Inkadinkadoo “Expressions” set
  • Patterned papers – “Letters from Paradise” by Black Market Paper Society
  • Cardstock – Bazzill and WorldWin
  • Die cuts – Spellbinders Nestabilities “Fancy Tags,” “Big Scalloped Circles,” and “Standard Circles Large”

This card is based on the current sketch at Card Positioning System, Sketch #221.

CPS Sketch #219 – Cyclamen

  • Stamp – Flourishes, Inc. “A Year in Flowers 3: Cyclamen,” image colored with Copic markers
  • Patterend papers – My Mind’s Eye “Tres Jolie” Collection
  • Die cut – Spellbinders Nestabilities “Labels Twenty”
  • Felt trim – Queen and Company – Self Adhesive Felt Fusion Border – “Classic Scroll”
  • Cardstock – Bazzill
  • Edges inked with Colorbox Chalk Inks

This card is based on the newest sketch at Card Positioning Systems (CPS) – Sketch #219. I popped the image (both die cuts) up with double-sided tape for some dimension and have a variety of textures with the felt trim and the Bazzill Bling cardstock. Thanks for stopping by.

CPS Sketch #216

  • Patterned papers – Basic Grey – Hello Luscious “Raspbetty Syrup” and BoBunny “Coffee Ledger”
  • Cardstock die cuts – K & Company
  • Scallop circle – The Papercut
  • Cardstock – Bazzill
  • Pearls and gems – Hero Arts “Earth Mixed Accents”

This card was created using the Card Positioning Systems sketch #216.

Birthday Joy – CPS Sketch #213

Happy Birthday, Rick!

  • Stamp – “Birthday Joy Calligraphy” by Paper Inspirations
  • Stamp – leaf stamp from “Leaves and Trees” clear set by Inkadinkado
  • Patterned Papers – all Basic Grey “Scarlett’s Letter”
  • Cardstock -Bazzill
  • Corner rounder – Creative Memories

I popped up the smaller stamped images with foam squares to add a little dimension. (This caused some kind of funky shadows in the scan!) This card was designed using the latest Card Positioning System sketch (#213).

Flowers for You

  • Stamp – “For You” by Northwoods Rubber Stamps
  • Die cut – Spellbinders Nestabilities “Fancy Tags”
  • Patterned paper – Chatterbox
  • Flowers & Leaves – Prima
  • Rhinestones – Kaisercraft
  • Cardstock – Bazzill

This card is based on the current sketch at Card Positioning Systems (CPS): Sketch #212. My interpretation is a little bit different, since it was supposed to feature banners strung across it. But I kept seeing flowers with the leaves hanging down (sort of like banners).

CPS Sketch #210

  • Stamp – Magenta Cat of the Month (Dahlia)
  • Patterned papers – Sassafrass Lass “Life is Beatiful” collection (both sides); Green dots – BoBunny
  • Faux pearls (brown) – Blue Hills Studio
  • Inks – Memento black (kitty) edged pieces in Tangerine ColorBox Chalk ink
  • Copic and Marvey markers

This is the current sketch at Card Positioning Systems (Sketch 210). Thanks for stopping by.

CPS Sketch #209

  • Stamp – “Mountain Hare” by Hero Arts
  • Patterned papers – Basic Grey “Kioshi” collection
  • Cardstock – Bazzill
  • Die cuts – Spellbinders Nestabilities “Labels Fifteen”
  • Corner Punch – EK Success
  • Inks – Versafine Vintage Sepia and Colorbox chalk inks: Creamy Brown and Chestnut Roan
  • Ribbon – May Arts
  • Pearls – KaiserCraft

This is such a great stamp. It was originally designed in 2000 and they’ve re-released it as a “Hero Arts Classic.” I used the latest sketch (#209) from Card Positioning System (CPS). This may be the last card in my first shipment to Operation Write Home. I will be sending cards out in the next day or two. Thanks for checking-in.
