Welcome to my stop on the Operation Write Home (OWH) Finishing Strong Bloghop on this Memorial Day Weekend! There are a lot of cardmakers participating in the hop, so visit as many as you can and check out the great assortment of cards and talent! Click here to return back to the Hop’s home. I’ve been participating in OWH by making cards since early 2011. I’m proud to say that cardmakers have made MILLIONS of cards for our Heroes
Operation Write Home, a charity that has supported heroes with handmade cards since 2007, will be closing later this year. All cards need to be sent in by August 1st, so I’m helping to get the word out!
Here is my card for the hop:
- Stamp – Simon Says Stamp “OWH Brave”
- Spellbinders Nestabilities “Labels Two”
- Patterned papers – Echo Park “For the Record 2” (blue dots) and KaiserCraft “Tropical Punch Collection: Sunny” (red)
- Epoxy stickers – Doodlebug Designs Inc. “Sprinkles”
- Cardstock – Bazzill
I used OWH Sketch # 185 as a point of departure for this card. The color scheme is red, white and blue without it being a patriotic card per se. It is a very clean and simple design. Thanks for visiting my stop on the hop and have a great weekend! To return to OWH Stars and Stamp and to the bloghop, click here.
