- Stamps – from The Cat’s Pajamas “Hearts and Flowers,” “Flying By” and “Smells Like Cake” sets
- Patterned papers – My Mind’s Eye “Happy Day” 6 X 6″ paper pad
- Cardstock – Bazzill Bling
- Sequins – Doodlebug Designs
- Copic Markers
I created this birthday card with items from my stash, and I am entering it in two different challenges. First, I used Sketch #168 from Freshly Made Sketches; the inspiration is from The Cat’s Pajamas (TCP) TCPTUES281 Inspiration Challenge. I stamped the snail and sunflower TCP image and then masked it to stamp in the clouds from another TCP set. I colored the stamped images with Copic markers and then I layered the patterned papers to tie in the colors of the image. I used an orange card base for some contrast. I added the sequins for a little sparkle and to unify the color scheme. All in all, it is a pretty simple card. Thanks for visiting.
