- Die cuts made with:
- Spellbinders Nestabilities “Labels Twenty”
- Memory Box “Darla Butterfly” and “Vivienne Butterfly”
- Cardstock – BoBunny patterned cardstock and Bazzill solid and textured cardstock
For finishing touches, I drew dotted line around the perimeter of the navy blue layer. The two butterfly die cuts, made with dies from Memory Box, fit together. I used the more detailed die cut as the top layer that looks like it is resting on the card and preparing to fly away.
This was an unusual stretch for me. The challenge was to make a non-standard, shaped card: one that isn’t a rectangle or square. I used die cuts for almost all aspects of this card, which I ended up really liking! For every 25 cards made for this challenge over at OWH, Our Daily Bread Designs (ODBD) will pay for shipping of one box of cards to the troops. This is a huge help to OWH, as shipping can really add up. The OWH – ODBD June challenge continues through the end of the month. Thanks for visiting today.

Very pretty, Yvonne! The blues are so nice together with the pale green. The graceful shapes look lovely with the butterfly.
