Just a quick post to show a two-page spread from my journal. I created this during my Dina Wakley class marathon last weekend when she came to Salem. It is not obvious from the photo, but the tags are in little pockets and can be pulled out. I used Dina’s acrylic paint, stencils, stamps and Ranger’s Tim Holtz tissue. Lots of fun!

I’m playing today and participating in to the Artfoamies Challenge using @artfoamies that @natkalbach and @iamsarahmatthews are hosting this month. I used Distress Oxide inks and spritzes of water to look at the interaction with water and more ink.The trilliums on our property finally opened up their blooms. Max heard it was National Pet Day yesterday when I took this photo, so he photo-bombed. 🐈⬛ #panthermode #maxcat #maximuscatimus #tuxedocatsofinstagram #trilliumflower #willamettevalleyflora #willamettevalleywildflowersAnother piece I made while doing the Artfoamies Challenge that @natkalbach and @iamsarahmatthews are hosting this month. I’m continuing to use @artfoamies foam stamps on my gel plate. I used Distress Oxide inks Once again. The colors of these inks stamp so nicely and some fun reactive things happen as well!- Follow penguinpapers on WordPress.com
